Grow tons of sweet potatoes in pots, so easy & yummy

4. Planting:
Plant the sweet potato slips in the container, burying them about halfway into the soil. Space the slips at least 12 inches apart to allow enough room for growth.

5. Watering:
Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Sweet potatoes require regular watering, especially during hot and dry periods. Be mindful not to let the soil dry out completely.

6. Provide Sunlight and Warmth:
Place the containers in a sunny location where the sweet potatoes will receive at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Sweet potatoes are tropical plants and require warm temperatures to grow successfully.

7. Fertilizing:
Sweet potatoes are moderate feeders. Apply a balanced fertilizer or organic compost at the time of planting. You can also provide a side dressing of compost or a slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.
